Microsoft announced that they were able to fix a bug that has been hibernating deep inside of their operating systems for the last 15 years. It was first noticed by Jeff Schmidt, an independent researcher at JAS Global Advisors in Chicago, Illinois in January of 2014, while working on another project. "Microsoft has classified this vulnerability 'Critical' as '…exploitation could allow code execution without user interaction.' This is the most serious rating in Microsoft's classification taxonomy." Read more about JAS-bug and how you should secure your information from it [here].
Microsoft first began rolling out Delve (codename Oslo) back in March of 2014 as a way to combat the need to search for relevant internal information head-on.  It came as a blessing to most of us Office 365 users because we no longer had to search high and low for documents that either we or our co-workers had recently updated. As with basically everything Microsoft, they've been constantly updating and changing the inner-workings of this glorious addition to their team. However, they've recently implemented something called "Boards" to aid all of us in our search for relevant data. Read more about it [here]

Microsoft has been gearing up and improving upon the already excellent Power Map for Excel software over the last few months. They have recently begun implementing some of these changes. Data cards extend the Power Map tooltip so you can display more contextual information about the data that you're presenting on your map. Drilling down into the finer details of your charts and graphs has never been so simple- all you have to do is hover over or click on any visualization on the map and the data card will pop-up with relevant information based on the visualization (i.e.geo, height, category and time related to the data point). Learn more about Microsoft's newest updates to Power Map [here]
The Microsoft Experience Center (MEC) is the site of a 3-hour hands-on demo of Office 365 hosted by Microsoft. Held at one of a handful of Microsoft regional offices equipped with the technology, those in attendance are guided through a day-in-the-life tour of the software by certified instructors. The environment is top-notch for viewing the potential of the software first-hand by those most familiar with its in's and out's, giving a first-hand glimpse at exactly how powerful the software can be when used to its fullest potential. March brings some new opportunities for you and your company to experience Office 365 in all of its glory! View upcoming dates [here].
User feedback has provided Microsoft with some topics for improvement with OneDrive for Mac and iOS. They have recently developed and implemented some excellent changes based on this feedback and are happy to announce a better and more user-friendly OneDrive experience from both home and the office.  Improved collaboration between OneDrive for Business and Home on Android and Windows Phones give customers a streamlined experience when using cloud storage. Mac users are now able to access and move their files offline using the familiar "finder" experience. See more [here].
